Care
Re-oil the seat once a year, more often on a chair that gets daily use. If a joint ever loosens, send it back and we will re-wedge it rather than sell you a new one.

European oak, air-dried then kilned for eleven weeks so it holds its shape in a heated room.
Why it is built this way
One stubborn idea, held onto
The back is one length of oak, steamed and clamped around a form for three days. That is why it flexes slightly when you lean back, which is the difference between a chair you sit on for twenty minutes and one you sit on all evening.
